In 2024, MMI significantly expanded its data, adding over 1,000 new attributes to its property, real estate, origination, builder, and loan officer datasets. This growth also included a major expansion of historical depth, adding over half a billion mortgage origination records spanning 25 years.

MMI’s proprietary database quadrupled in size in 2024, now exceeding 8 terabytes, highlighting its unmatched scale and breadth in mortgage and real estate data. This expanded dataset builds on MMI’s already impressive coverage, now spanning over 3,000 counties, covering more than 150 million properties, and offering 95% coverage of all MLS listings.

Together, this data provides unparalleled context and precision to empower more informed decision-making and drive innovation across the industry. Additionally, in 2024, MMI added an additional 11 dashboards to their customer portal, bringing the total to 21 dashboards

And MMI’s acquisition of Bonzo, a leading CRM communication platform for mortgage and real estate professionals, has supercharged its Data Center product.

  • Data Center: Allows lenders and their recruiters to research loan officers (LOs) by rank over the past 14 months, using city, state, county, loan type, and more filters. Whether scanning a lender’s roster or targeting specific markets, Data Center enables informed decisions quickly.
  • MMI’s Visual Intelligence (VI) Boards: Offer interactive data visualization tools for market analysis, lender comparisons, and growth tracking. Lenders use them for KPI reviews, production trends, and performance tracking, while recruiters research top talent with LO searches and performance benchmarks. Loan Officers can explore tools like Buyside Agent Insights, LO Benchmark, and team-level searches.   • Refinder Capabilities: Refinder from MMI leverages the company’s extensive dataset to continually analyze over a hundred million properties and their active mortgages. Beyond simply presenting data on loans at the time of closing, Refinder calculates monthly payments, amortizes balances to determine the current unpaid balance, and uses advanced Automated Valuation Models (AVMs) to provide an accurate understanding of a property’s equity. These advanced calculations enable Refinder to evaluate rate improvements, cash-out opportunities, payment differences, and lendable equity, synthesizing this information into MMI’s proprietary Money Moves rating to highlight the most promising refinance opportunities. With Refinder Pro, these capabilities are further enhanced to include local refinance prospects. This feature identifies borrowers with loans closely aligned to those typically managed by the loan officer or institution, offering personalized recommendations that match business patterns and uncover new opportunities for borrower engagement.
